Sleeping and waking up every day has gradually become a cliché for many of you that take the mornings for granted.

Do you know that the morning is the essential part of the day? Well, if you didn’t know, now you do. The morning is the beginning of every day of your life and most times; it determines how well your day would go.

Have you ever started your day in a bad mood or with bad news that produces so much negative vibe and leaves you moody for the rest of the day?

Now that shows you how important it is to start your day on the right note. The truth is that these feelings will definitely reflect on how you respond and relate to people you meet and can affect your general disposition all-day

It can also affect the kind of energy you release as you go about the day’s activities. I’m sure you would not want to be caught spreading bad energy around your colleagues at work or to associates in business.

Try to drop the excuse of, “I’m having a bad day!” It has become a commonplace phrase over time. The way you start off the day can either make or mar your entire day.

Having said that, here are a few tips on how you can start your day on the right note:

  • Prep your spirit:

Your spirit is an essential part of you, and as a matter of fact, it is believed that the spiritual controls the physical.

Since you want to have a good day, you will need to activate your spirit every morning before you commence other activities. The question is, what do you feed your spirit with? I will encourage you to consider two things. When it comes to your spirit; gratitude and attitude will go a long way. Be grateful for what you have achieved already even while you are expectant for greater things ahead. A prayer of thanks will do you a world of good when you wake up in the morning not eluding the fact that you are still hopeful for a better day than the previous.

  • Renew your mind:

The mind works wonders, and there’s no doubt about it.

According to Oprah Winfrey, an all-time talk show host and philanthropist, You become what you believe.

So what do you believe? What does your mind tell you about you? Your mindset as you begin the day is what will carry you for the rest of the day. This does not mean that you will not encounter challenges or negative vibes from others, not at all, rather because your mindset is focused on positivity, all these challenges will be unable to get the best of you. Meditation, listening to good music and reading one or two motivational articles or books will do well to spur you for the day.

One of America’s famous industrialist, Henry Ford said, whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.

So if you think you can make the best of your day, then Yes, you can!

  • Energize your body:

Your body is the physical you that we see. You sure can’t have an optimistic spirit and a positive mind with a negative body. Hell No! To keep your body to be as sharp as your spirit and mind, always stay hydrated especially.

A glass of water every morning will do your body great good. After all, you can’t necessarily consume too much water. Decide on a brief workout routine that will kick start your body every morning. Do well to have a nourishing breakfast before you head out for the day. And yes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so don’t skip it!

Taking out time to try out these tips will enable you fully kitted and equipped to face the hassle of the day, so do yourself a favour and start them immediately.
